The Straits of Szarn

The Straits of Szarn is a narrow length of water that separates the Fairge from Surdije Bay. It it calm in comparison to most of the straits surrounding the Three Rivers continent, as it is sheltered on the west by the rocky Szarn Archipelago. It is crossed frequently, primarily by merchants and pilgrims, who are making the voyage to the holy city of Hyslur-Zemark in southwestern Forosth.

It is named after the nearby city-state of Szarn which makes no territorial claim to the Strait.
